I'm not Catholic. But if there was another way for salvation, why put Jesus on the cross? The Bible is very clear that God has in fact bound all men to disobedience that he may have mercy on everyone. Christianity is the only belief system that does not base itself on your good or bad deeds. As though being good one day can make up for the bad you do on the other days. Christianity teaches that the only way to God the Father is through the blood in the death of Christ. Jesus made it very clear that everyone is dead in their sins and needs to have a spiritual birth of the Holy Spirit in their heart to inherit heaven. There's nothing wrong with good deeds, but they cannot produce forgiveness or make you right with God.
