Never ran into Lombardo as he was in prison when I was growing up in Elmwood Park. I have some other stories though. Best one was in seventh grade when one day my best friend called and said his girlfriend disappeared. I'm like, what the hell do you mean she disappeared. Later on we found her dad had turned informant and she had gone into the witness protection program.

My ex Girlfriend from years ago family was "mobbed" up. Dad was a 100% Sicillian. I remember once holding a discussion with him about things that i'd read regarding the mob as around that time i used to read books on it.
