I am sure, but does anyone, even the biggest Mike North fan out there think that a publishing company would give him, lets say, 100,000 to write a book and then get more if it sells, I dont see it.

People would be interested in his book (at least I would be...). But I hope whoever publishes it lets a professional do the editing. It's kind of embarrassing when Dan tries to play English teacher on the air and correct someone's grammar, only to be incorrect himself. At least when Bernstein does it he's almost always right. With Mac..not so much.

That's true. He always confuses "literally" and "figuratively", for one thing, and that drives me nuts.

Anyway, book publishers, at least decent ones, always have someone other than the author edit. In fact, before mac sends in his draft, he should have someone else look it over, so they could catch any errors before even sending it in. But I'm sure he knows that.

If they did, I hope it was to leave a bag of dog poo on fire on the front step and then run away.

I really doubt that Mike would be able to name the stadium where the Illini play. Same for the Assembly Hall.
