I don't listen as much as i used to, yes part because of a new job, but also because of the Boredom, but still as I read all this and what I hear of North it's like the guy has lost it almost.

I bet the CBS execs hate him broadcasting from the house, so he does it because he can, he now compares everything in America that is bad with Radio station ownership, his attack on the message boards, hiring attorneys, going after Paul Agase on the air daily and what really got me thinking was this remote he is now going to do in Wrigleyville? or is it in Wrigleyville?

Is this like his swan song? or close to it? Does he just go nuts right there on stage? send Knuckles after board members after inviting them up with $100 bills? Does he decalre his undying love for Jen? His hatred of annie? His disgust with Fred for letting the show fail? Issue a bounty on Joel Hollander? Shake down all his long time sponsors for another $1000 each for the time he will be off the air? Make everyone take home a adopted dog? Steak & BJ shirt? a Caucasion Man CD?

Ok, I spoke with the guys over at the station today, this is Mike being asked to broadcast from home because they just dont want him there, he is to much of a distraction. I spoke with Paul today and that is what I was told. Not opinion, fact!

I hope you're not bullshitting us XScoreguy. This all seems much too good to be true. The Santa Claus isnt real thing was hard enough to handle.

just wondering...why would paul agase tell an ex-employee this information? xscoreguy sounds like a fraud who's sole purpose is to stir up controversy

I've been wondering the same thing. Maybe he is a CBS radio employee with responsibilities in several different cities, including, occasionally, Chicago? This would be the most charitable interpretation I can formulate.

Or maybe he is a Agase plant who is trying to embarass North through back channels.

That sounds most likely.

Why would North take less money than he is owed, and walk away at this point?
I'm not saying that PA doesn't want to be rid of him, but what's in it for Pappy? He has no place to go immediately and out of sight is out of mind.
He can fix the problem he is having and re-build his image any time he feels the need to come to his senses.

Talk less about himself
Talk more sports
Turn off Annie's mic

And then continue to cash the big check, or force CBS to pay him off his money in its entirety.

North is quite capable of embarassing himself-just listen on a daily basis.

Then he will sit at home collecting his checks-off the air, out of sight and out of mind for the remainder of the time on his deal. He's done if he does that and he knows it, that's why you negotiate a buyout, so you can go to work somewhere else.

If he were a plant, I'd think he'd give us better stuff than the rather mundane musings XScoreGuy has generated.

This seems like the most reasonable view of the situation I've heard.

They know it and we all know it, North would just die having to sit home and not have an audience, no matter how much they gave him.

His tapes would be out to every single channel, station, website, talent show, grocery store opening, auto dealer, you name it.

So if Mike does not get another job right away does he support Jen jen and fires rock?

Good move getting your bosses, your company and your die hard listeners unhappy with you

XScoreguy isn't going to reveal who he/she is....why would he/she do that?

It doesn't benefit anyone to know who this person is anyway, so why debate or discuss.

How many "rumors" have been posted on this board and not come true? Weren't we supposed to be off the air last Aug.? How bout in Sept?

The point is no one really knows what's going to happen besides Mike, Paul, Mitch, Rod and the CBS Execs in NYC. Let's just wait and find out what's gonna happen.....and then when it does you can crown your "inside guy" for being right.

I don't know what's going to happen, and personally have no opinion on it......just go in, do my job and go home. Just like any other person here on this board. I do the best I can do with what I have.

And if anyone cares.....I'm not under any contract with anyone, so....no buyout here.

So you are saying there are some discussions going on about the jerk being booted?

People forget what Danny Mac did to CBS. He got paid off and was not allowed to work at other stations. Within a couple of months, he was doing morning sports for The Loop. Mac dared CBS to do something, and they did Nothing.

If they really want him gone, he can force them to pay full contract value, and shortly thereafter he wil be doing what we wants. Pappy is a shrewd guy, he knows how this has worked in the past
