Aren't pawn-brokers by definition usurers?

That would mean he has no hope of going upstairs for all the people he took advantage of.

He seemed pretty cheap to me in low balling everyone, if he bothered to make an offer on anything at all.

And he condescendingly would call everyone son, like kid. Who does that?
