When talking with Steve Stone this morning, Pappy is questioning the DeRosa signing and how his numbers improved quickly and he got bigger quickly. This is the same guy, when talking directly to DeRosa said, "you know there are people out there who like to make accusations, you know?"

Typical North and next week they will announce the Mark DeRosa show and North will bend over for him. I am just going to accept the fact that North is a spineless punk.

I was more annoyed with Northy not getting off moving Soriano down in the order for 25 minutes. You made your point Mike, move on.

Did he argue that with Stone ?

I've heard Stone talk on B/B about that, and he says that Soriano wants to bat leadoff because he gets a lot more fastballs, and can't hit off-spead pitches very well.

It was classic Mike.
Mike kept arguing this point with Stone, lost track of time and told Annie to skip her newsbreak.
Then he spent the next 90-plus minutes venting about Stone. North tried shouting over Stone during their conversation, and Steve finally called Mike out for not listening to answer that was given.
It was can't-miss, freeway-accident radio. Mike kept coming up with counterpoints, then Fred and Annie did their bootlicking routine.
