I don't know, I don't think it's a death knell. The industry has been in a decline for decades and this was clearly one of the reasons. If cheaters are caught perhaps, perhaps, it will lead to less cheating. Maybe less fatalities as well.

I think it probably is good in the very long term, but it will immediately be used by casino companies to get rid of as much racing as possible. There goes the welfare in Pennsylvania. That's probably not a bad thing.

Just watch the horses load. It takes forever to load eight horses in the gate in the U.S. because the horses are cranked out of their minds. In Europe or Japan they load 15 horses and almost every one walks right in.
