what the fuck? why would you pull these? are they actually scared that they portray cops in a good way? why would that be a bad thing?

There is a podcast series called Running from Cops and it shows how the sausage is made behind the scenes for Cops and Live PD that show why it is probably a bad idea to turn policing into "entertainment."

I suspect no brand wants their product to be a sponsor for the show when public opinion has justly turned against police in this country.

I think Cops normalize or desensitized (whichever is the correct one) the country to no knock raids and property confiscation.

I watched the shit out of Live PD for a time and was consistently amazed how readily people would waive their Miranda rights.
