Talk about a lack of research.

North says he doesn't understand the NBA Salary Cap, and how it works so his proposed trade of Gordon, Tyrus Thomas, and the #9 pick for Kobe Bryant cannot even be done, but yet he's taken some phone calls on it.

Talk about coming up, in probably 2 minutes, something to talk about.

On another note, even while discussing a trade that cannot happen, the show sounds so much better without Annie.

I find it humorous that while Anne is out, they don't even bother replacing her with someone else, they have someone else "multi-task" to do her job.

Yeah, I was thinking that as well. I guess she's not that hard to replace. Who thought ?

Of course base salaries and free agent signings can complicate things, but you don't need to be an expert to know that the cap would come into play and that the salaries would have to be at least close. I was pleading for someone to point out the cap problem with Pappy's ridiculous trade scenario. Naturally Fred dropped the ball, but I felt certain that KC Johnson would put it to bed almost immediately. Unfortunately he only vaguely alluded to it which allowed Mike to keep pushing his argument. Johnson did (correctly) say that the Bulls would have to offer far more than what North was proposing, but that is subjective and Mike wasn't buying it.

That same deal is a poll on the Score's website...it takes 2 seconds on Realgm.com's trade checker, jeez

And they have the draft pick as the #1 pick, I get what they mean, but still...
