This is where I tell my Charlie Hough story.

My dad and a few of his friends who were old uncircumsized guys had a stupid handshake they would do that was like pinkie swearing or the way little kids make a bet. It would be accompanied by stating, "It's still there, brother!"

One of those friends was a guy named Ron Zera who ran the visitors' clubhouse at Wrigley Field. When Hough was with the Dodgers, Zera happened to glance at him after he got out of the shower and saw his uncircumsized junk. When Charlie was dressed, Ronnie showed him the handshake. Stupid as it was, Hough found it hilarious. He just loved it.

Years later, when Hough was with the Rangers he went to a dinner and injured his right pinkie performing a "secret club handshake" with a judge.
