First MLB game I ever attended at old Comiskey was the Sox vs Detroit and Chet Lemon crushed a Homerun for the Tigers.

Lemon was one of those closer to the Hall of Fame than you might think type of guys. Didn't have an outstanding stats, but did everything on the field very very well.

He was a Billy Baseball type of player(fan favorite) and the quintessiential back of the card guy. Anybody who can hang around in pro sports 15+ years is an outstanding pro athlete and should have flowers thrown at them. Piersall loved the guy. So that's high praise.
