Mike is a Monday Morning QB a lot of times. Jones has been playing extremely well since the All Star Break so that means he's good, in Mike's opinion.

The guys you are comparing him to are good young players though who don't make much money yet, and I don't consider Jones' contract an issue - it's only $5 million per season, and he has only 1 year left.

he's been playing better but he still has a .388 slugging pct. That is embarrassing and is by far his worst of his career. Lou is should have been playing others. Jones will never get much better. And he sucks as an outfielder.

There is a reason they tried to get rid of this guy. lots of money for minimal resuts. Mike just wants to argue without a leg to stand on. Kyke Orton? Phil Jackson? etc

He did the same thing when Pods came back, and the Sox swept a doubleheader from Detroit.
