I think when he initially said that he loved Kyle Orton he believed it. I think eventually people were able to explain to him how the Bears offense was dead last with Orton and he had 14 picks to 9 TD's. I think at that point the moron realized that Orton wasn't good that year. But he sticks with that stupid opinion because it does draws a reaction.
