The people who give these awards never listen to Pappy. It's just an excuse to have a dinner and invite semi-celebrities.

There are too many awards in society. Everybody wants to honor some ass hole for no good reason.

They have these dinners and all of the dignitaries sit around the table and talk about how great they are.

I thought it was a joke when I first heard it mentioned on his show today. Then I finally realized this was serious. HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!! This guy did'nt have one good word to say about the Hawks for the last 10 years and now they are honoring him?? Unfreakinbelievable. This is almost as stupid as Notre Dame HS having this guy as an asst varsity basketball coach. This goof actually made his team a 7.5 pt dog against St Pats this coming Friday. That right there should get him fired from his coaching gig. How clueless is this guy. It is amazing the things this guy says that he is able to get away with. I would never want this guy having any influence with son. I feel for the parents of these kids who have this guy coaching their kids. Only in America...

The soldiers in Iraq won't give the Blackhawks as much publicity as MN sucking on their jockstrap every morning!

Mike is definitely the king of self-promotion here locally. How many times has he been honored for the last few years ? What is he being honored for ?

I'm not sure how they are getting those deals done....
