Meaning they couldn't afford the bad press. They already have their hands full without him pissing people off.

Agreed, but North is not going to give in on control of his show I believe, the next two are assumptions, doesnt want to leave mornings and isnt willing to take a huge pay cut, take that and his pride, I can easily see him walking.

The suits have to be telling him, "listen, we paid you big bucks, things didnt pan out like we hoped, its time to give us something", North, I believe wont be in the mood for giving, so I say he walks. I cannot see him going to ESPN, WGN or anywhere, who wants him for his price tag that he will be looking for?

They should put Nort with Antonio Mora, and make Nort wear a sombrero.

Hes probably still pissed that nothing came of his big fill-in for Imus. I only say that because every once in a while, he brings up the great argument he had over lawrence taylor.

My attitude is, the quality of the show is his decision. He thinks that little of us as to put that weak of a show together, I can only think little of him in response. It's not like blaming Eric CaSillyAss for not doing a good show -- he's not capable of doing a better show. North can, has, and has done so with the likes of Jiggs.

It bothers me; towards the end of the Monster's run, I was lamenting how their quality had gone down, to where it was focusing too much on the caricature of the loud-mouth sports nut (North), and yet given that, those shows were better than what we've been subjected to ever since. Greener grass on the other side, and all like that...
