I listen to Pappy in the morning, and I frequently think he's an idiot. What I don't understand is this: Why do so many of you who hate this man expend so much energy on hating him? Every morning I entertain myself on my commute by guessing what stupidity he's spewed will show up on this board. It's like some of you are sitting by a computer with his show on just waiting for him to fuck up (not a long wait, admittedly).

On another note, I'm shocked that nobody here has commented on the idiot who called and claimed to believe that North has a PhD from Harvard and was acting stupid to be a "man of the people".

Or was that one of you trying to mock him without him knowing?

I'm only kidding. I don't have to listen to his show, and I don't, normally because everytime I try they are at commercial. But reading this board does a good job keeping me up to date on all the trials and stupidity of the (now in the Score announcer voice)... Mike North Morning Show.

I listen more out of habit and looking for local sports info...than because of North. That said, I agree that his stupidity and ability to butcher the language is entertaining in a way.

The "hate" comes from his obvious arrogance...and because he makes a lot of $$ (listen..he'll tell you) for being a fucking blow hard. He likes to come off like this great guy...but he is nothing more than an egotistical jerk.

I agree with your listening angle though.
