This entire contract issue should emphasize to CBS Infinity management how critical it is to never allow North to have control over a show again, regardless of the new contract sum or outcome.

His childish tantrums on the air, his poorly planned responses and overall LIES should not only call into question his ability to think clearly, his judgement but his ethics involved in being a broadcaster.

This 'private negotiation' that he conducted in public has cost him.

While the deal that was offered to him, appears to be unacceptable to him, the management of the station should only extend this offer for a very limited period of time and be prepared to move on without Mike North in their plans.

Mike North is way too stubborn and too rich at this point in his life to make any adjustments, so I fully ecpect him to be leaving the Score on what he will call 'Principles' and do so in some major announcement sooner rather than later sometime this week, which will be his fairwell.

Management should step in then and remove him from the air immediattely as everything will be directed at them and Mike's new show whereever it might be

I can agree they should be removing him from the air, but they know that the second they do that, contract talks are done and he is gone for a long time.

This is because, just like any 5 year old mentality he will cry and scream. He will throw dirt on everyone involved, he will have any media person that will listen write an article for him that rips everyone.

Then in 2 years, he will want to come back. He will take some night gig and talk about how the wounds have healed and this is where he belongs.

I think North is resigned by the Score. Right now, I think North is just taking advantage of all of the attention he's getting in the local papers, even if it's not all positive.

I'm not holding my breath, bu I hope they give him a partner who's allowed to share a thought and maybe challenge him once in a while, and, most importantly, keep it on sports.

Thats what I kinda think to. I cant imagine how loud and obnoxious he is going to yell once(if and when) he announces he has been resigned. Let's hope the the higher ups know better

The Score has already offered him something. That's what is so stupid. The fact that they want him back.

His bosses know he sucks. They know they shouldn't bring him back. Yet they feel compelled to do so. It's a weird pull that Pappy has. It's quite remarkable. He criticizes the management at the Score. Blames them for his failures. He cashes a 1.5 million dollar salary from these evil people. He has had complete control of his failing show. He doesn't even put an effort into his show. Christ, they've given him every time slot. He failed in afternoons and mornings. He's failed solo. He's failed with different partners. He's failed with different formats. The evil Score bosses have wronged him all of these years. What a poor guy. Who gets all of these chances after failure?

Yes, the Score has conditions, most likely, in their offer to him. He won't be in mornings too much longer. They might give him 6 months to show something but they'll have the ability to move him to middays when he continues to fail.

I say cut bait. They haven't. He has an outstanding offer. Let's hope Pappy's stupid pride makes him walk. Finally, he can rid himself of the evil Score that has been so horrible to him. My God.
