Not quite sure about Bud but Mike's "guy" David Spada now has Mulley/Hanley as spokespeople. Looks like David Spada didnt follow Mikey. And he's been around for a fewe years. You think WSCR offered discounts to "Mike's Sponsors" to keep them around? Loyaltys one thing but everything always comes down to the bottome line.

Budweiser and Fritzy can fuck off and die.

Speaking of Budweiser, why is that the only beer available at the Taste? I hadn't been there in about 10 years but the gf wanted to go so we went yesterday for a few hours. I thought this was a Miller town...WTF?!? DAMN YOU MIKE NORTH!!!

I'm with you on the Bud thing, but at least the Specialty beer booth had a pretty good selection and it was "only" 1 ticket more. :drunken:

I'm sure Miller will be happy to replace Bud's ads with more of their own. It is the target audience for the beer companies.

I believe Fritzy is a Miller rep.

Fritzy hasn't been on the SCORE officially in years so I don't know why they would pull their ads just because North is friends with him

Can someone shed a little light on this? And what sort of relationship would a Miller rep have with Bud that would make them pull their advertising from a station?

*edit*
Or does Miller brew Budweiser? IIRC, Miller owns the recipe to several beers and brews more than their own brand.

*edit II*
I heard Hanley doing a Marconi read this morning. I guess they can somehow manage to sell their product without North, too.
