It took 30 seconds for Mike to totally show whats up and how full of crap he is. For one, he said it wasnt about the money, but on the air two weeks ago he said it was about the money..lol.

Then he said he is done with the score, they took the offer off the table, but now it was his choice to leave, which is is Mikey? He also has 4 offers on the table at this time, but not all in radio, which isnt what he said on his website or when he was last on the air.

This guy is just to confused to keep his BS straight.

I saw it. What a joke he is. He can't keep up with his lies.

He said that he would have got the Imus job but the head of CBS said "the Score will miss him too much." - That's bullshit.

He said he had nothing to do with the Jiggs break up when we've heard Mac tell us several times he was responsible but the Score allowed it.

There was more bullshit. Man, they let him talk forever without going to a commercial. They still haven't taken a break but now they are doing sports talk.

Why would anyone hire him to do something other than sports? He can't put a sentence together, and keeps talking about he talks like that because that who listens to the Score.

Ok. You can't make anything on the fucking web. So that's a nothing offer. TV? Locally? Maybe a segment on the Sunday shows but that's nothing. What else is there on local TV?

So there might be one radio offer. But I'll bet he's lieing about that.

Took a shot at Kaplan, but he didn't realize it. Mike is angling for a Comcast job, with no offer.
The score MADE $23 mil last year, no Mike that was revenue not earnings.
Every station should have someone making a million a year, as long as it's Mike.
The list goes on. The one thing that comes through is that he is a shallow, pathelogical liar.

Pappy still thinks he was this big star. He was fucking 8th and got killed by Mike and Mike. He'll never get that.

North made himself look like a complete ass today, his lies are not changing and its just pathetic, I hope Mac does his homework and watches the replay of this tonight, because there are for sure some questions that need to be asked by him.

Interesting stuff. I'll give Northy this much - he's a pretty damned confident guy. Spaceball is going to be pretty instrumental in wherever Pappy lands, and it was good to hear him throw some acknowledgement towards Jeff Schwartz. I don't really buy into the stuff he was selling that he was NOT in favor of getting his own show either. Sounded like revisionist history to me. I also think it's a safe bet he won't end up back at a CBS owned station.

Sam Smith needs to hook up with Doc Brown in his DeLoreon and transport himself back to the 80s to the 'Sportswriters on TV' - it appears the halcyon years have arrived!

Bobby Blotzer of Ratt called Pappy - he wants his shirt back. ;)

Thanks... While I don't enjoy the luxury of TIVO, I went to sleep last night, well assured that my old VCR was set for 12:58 a.m. to record on a handy VHS blank.

As for Spaceball, between hiring Sean Salisbury and now supporting Mike North, I really have lost all respect for that guy. Someone in the business once told me how great of a guy he was and he is one of the few good guys in the business left, but I sincerely believe the guy is nothing but a tool.

I love this. North just tees himself up again for more criticism.
He gushes about having a picture of Jiggs at Pappyland. Mike's ego gets in the way, as he adds "He should have one of me at his house."
He denies the rumor that he orchestrated the changes at WSCR. A few minutes later he says, "What if I did?"
"The Score didn't want to lose Mike". How did their opinion change, since I believe Mike was also losing the ratings battle with M and M at that time.
He continues to accept no blame for the "Chinaman" comment, but then he whines how that situation prevented him from a having a softball field named in his honor.
He just doesn't know when to shut his mouth.

His arrogance is astonishing. Doesnt he realize he came in last in sports radio listeners. I'm sure the demo for spanish speaking listeners doesnt include english speaking white sports fans. They try to beat the other spanish stations. Sports stations should try to beat the OTHER sports station especially when they have the highly paid franchise or STAR as Mitch calls him. You are second and you are last. When you get beat every book you suck especially when the show you are losing to is out of Connecticut.
