I really enjoyed the pod cast! Regardless of what the idiots on the message board’s say (It's always easy to talk big and take shots when you are anonymous) you have a legion of loyal listeners that I know will follow you in your future endeavors. You are the reason I started listening to sports radio back in 1993. My friends and I enjoyed listening to a real Chicago guy talk sports, life and the city! You have always been straight up and for that reason you will always have my respect. My friends and I say…. He’s one of us, He’s like us, Hell he hangs out at the same places we do. When I would listen to you it was like talking to one of my family members about sports on the patio. I can’t say that about any sports radio show that is currently on air. I will be honest and tell you that I refuse to listen to the score after what has taken place. I don’t want to rip your former co-workers but it’s just not the same without you. Ok, I had to listen and it was awful. One thing that I want to comment on is his little speech about it "being all about you, the listener". Really Mike? Since when? You are the same guy who said that you didnt need to take calls from the fans and that you could do a show with low fan interaction because you had what it took. Now you need a paycheck and its back to the fans you blew off, two words pappy.....fuck you!

I can say that most of the people here can see through the line of bullshit you spewed today about the fans and your guys, it comes down to the same thing, $$$$ for you. I actually felt bad for pappy until I heard him start his love for the fans, now I hope he doesnt see the inside of a radio station ever again, because it is clear what a lying, back stabbing prick he is. The show was in a death spiral for 5 years, someone with a brain would have seen that and made changes, but pappy didnt because his ego wouldnt allow it, now you he is sitting in a basement doing a bad webcast, couldnt happen to a more deserving ass-wipe.
