Look at Jen's myspace. It was no sacrafice, on Jen's part, going to ball games with a Score press pass. Look at how many pictures Jen Jen got with the ball players. She wasn't working. She was having the time of her life.
I'm serious, Jen should be embarrased by this piece. She's learning from Pappy. She thinks she's been wronged. Keep that attitude, Jen. See where that gets you once you can't ride Pappy's coat tails.
I don't think Jen realizes how many qualified women would have killed to get the chance she got at the Score. Yet, she doesn't even say thanks. She says "fuck you" to the Score on her way out.
Agreed, Beardown. Agreed. It's a shame, because she could of become a good producer. Besides the standard "I appreciated the opportunity" line; the rest of the article made her come across as someone who believed she was above going back to move forward.
Look at Fred for example. Fred used to host the morning show with Murph. Now, due to this; he's an updater. But he also knows how difficult it is to get your foot in the door in radio, and that you can only trade on your past accomplishments for so long. Fred wanted to keep getting paid, to keep being paid; he'll have to take a step back and hope for a chance to move forward down the road.
Look at Rock. Rock came on here a few weeks ago and was saying how he was learning new skills and technical stuff (I can't remember the exact detail) that go on behind the scenes. I appreciated the fact that the Score was allowing him to do so; and using the opportunity that the station was providing.

just shows how smart she is burning bridges with the Score. She seems to forget that CBS, which owns the Score, owns many other radio stations throughout the country.
Not just throughout the country, Colonel. Look at the Bernstien "roundtable" discussion on Friday. They own a good number just in this city alone.
Don't be too surprised that if North remains loyal to Jen, after reading her bitchfest in this article; that some stations might go, "We'll take you Mike, but that girl isn't a part of the deal."
North can overcome *some* of his arrogance, as he was popular and still has a loyal fanbase. Jen doesn't have enough popularity to trade on her own name, she just has Pappy.
At the end of the day, though. I don't think it will really matter. Mike will be unemployed moving forward, because if Kevin Matthews with close to twenty years under HIS belt in Chicago radio couldn't land a gig here after Jack FM started; if Mancow couldn't get back on the air when his show was as hot as it was?
North's career (and through it Jen's) will be confined to either buying airtime (and in doing so, Jen's salary from there will make a 25K one look like dream street) or internet broadcasting (which, I caught his Friday only because I was home. Considering North's target audience is 'blue collar' and most of us are working during the day? Not too many delivery trucks are set up with a wi-fi link up to catch the broadcast.)
