Let's get this straight. I was wrong about Kenny Williams! The job he has done since he became GM has been remarkable. I didn't want him; I wanted Danny Evans. Evans was perceived to be next in line and was passed over. Kenny brought us a World Series in 05 and is having a strong 2008 season. The Ken Griffey Jr deal is really great because nothing really was given up from the Sox end, so congrats to Kenny Williams!

Kyle Orton is the people's choice right now. I've ALWAYS thought he was the better QB! Nothing against Rex but now that there's competition at the QB position I expect Kyle to be the starter.

And last but not least: I agree with Paul Pierce on the perception of Paul Pierce. He's the best player in basketball so he says. Well some of the people are bent out of shape because they haven't anointed him that. Bob Ryan of the Boston Globe says he might be in the top 10 but not the best. Well Ryan is a putz. Pierce proved it on the court, and not just against Kobe. He was outstanding throughout the playoffs. He was playoff MVP. Paul -you are the Man!

Nice update, he has a hard on about Ken Griffey and his old bones, but says nothing about the cubs sweeping the brew crew. It appears now that North is giving up on the website sight now, because his "blogs" as he refers to them, are nothing. North wont get anything with the sox for two reasons, the score is the flagship and they dont want his ass on tv, so there is no way they have anything for him.

My guy at Hawks says North did approach them, but got nowhere and told they were full, so maybe the UIC FLames can hire Mike.

By the way, did the school ever name the baseball field after Mike or did they finally walk away from it?

Does anyone honestly think after North has pissed off Kenny Williams to the point of hanging up and pissing off Ozzie to the point Ozzie hung up (well, ok; Ozzie could get pissed off at a family of baby ducks walking across the road) that he could get a job with the Sox?

As far as the Blackhawks, I can see it *possibly* happening; but the 'hawks have made moves to improve their product. I think that would include not having the loudmouth be a part of the broadcast team...........

It's amazing he can sum up his sports knowledge in one paragraph now, and it used to take him 20 hours a week.
