I saw the story at ChicagolandRadioandMedia.com, and I can't be surprised that Jay won't be joining the Trib. The Sun-Times threatened legal action if Mariotti joined the rival paper after resigning so quickly from the place where he had SIGNED A THREE-YEAR EXTENSION! I have a feeling Mariotti will be muted from places besides host Tony Reali weekday afternoons on ESPN's "Around the Horn" for quite sometime...
