As if it weren’t enough getting some incarnation of the phrase, “So…Hub 51 tonight?” texted to my phone every weekend, now there’s this: Rich Melman has arranged for Mike North, formerly of The Score, to broadcast from the Wildfire website. North’s contract keeps him from going on the actual airways, so I guess he figured a restaurant website (and a not particularly sexy one at that) was the next best choice. The first “webio show” (cringe) is Monday, September 8, 9am–11am. Just like Jerrod and RJ’s new place, no matter how mediocre it is, it will probably make Melman millions.
