"A note about last week's column: In writing about radio personality Mike North, I described his morning show as "one of the highest rated" in Chicago. I didn't want to print a specific ranking, since new Arbitron ratings were due out last week. Now that those numbers are out, and, given that North's show doesn't even make the top 10, my characterization looks quite silly. My apologies for the vagueness, which is exactly the sort of thing that happens when a public radio geek tries to pretend she knows something about what's on the rest of the dial."
