How can he make money with this? Think about it. Evening shows on sports stations don't make that much. They still have way more listeners than Pappy's web show. What could he have? Maybe 1,000 people listening to his Web cast. That's probably generous. Even if it's 5,000 people you can't make money with that. He'll never get that many people.

You can't get people in their cars. That's a huge factor. Web shows can't make money. It would have to be a guy like Stern to make decent money. Nobody listened to North when he was on the Score. How can this web show work?

Even if people like him he can't give people what they want. He doesn't have a staff beat reporter to give the show sound bites from the ball park. That's important. He can't get good guests. Who wants to do a show that nobody listens to?

From the sounds of it his show is all about him bitching about being wronged. It's him telling people how great he is. It's him talking stupidity with Jen and Bebe. Nobdoy wants to hear that.

For only $99.95 a month you get the expert handicapping advice of Fred Huebner, Jen Patterson, and the Bookie Priest??? With all the income rolling in from dontfademe he can afford to take a hit on the webio show.

NO. He's gone back in time to his roots when he used to buy time on WSBC. So his next stop might be WJJG.

Guessing 20-30 people listen for an average of 10 minutes.

someone posted in this forum that they heard from a good source that he only has 27 people subscribing to his website. And are all those 27 doing the 99 buck subscription? for the sake of argument if they are, that's only $2700. Maybe that's why he's screaming and begging in those site updates.

North said on one of the webio shows where he was railing against rodeo's email about his ratings that he had sold $200,000 of advertising. There is no way on Earth that he has sold 1% of that amount. Lets remember if in fact he has 27 members of DFM that is $2,700 for a full year. A far cry from $1.5 million per year or even the $800K he turned down.

I think it's more important for him to remain 'RELEVANT' during this hiatus from a legitimate job.

So far, I don't think he's been successful.

He made a big deal how schlitz is on board with his great webio show. I heard schlitz commercials on wusn, wgn and another station yesterday, I doubt they are paying that much to mike, I would bet they are paying only like 3% of what they are paying those radio stations.

Beef is right also, mike wants to keep his name out there, by saying he is sending out emails about his show, no calls and no emails, its pretty clear he is not getting it done. Also, this gig is only to december, so its not like he is getting long term deals with these advertisers.

$2700 per month, $32400 per year- IF those 27 stay on month after month, which I highly doubt. This venture is doomed, :)

His latest donttouchme.com video as the BP is sorta a low point as far as being pathetic goes. His webio show is actually so bad, that when he has bebe on, it gets better, thats bad.

Beef...i was in your neck of the woods last night, I remember what i dont like about that area now, traffic 24/7.
