The Mike North Show is not the first bad idea in Media and it will not be the last, but very few people are given the control over the product and staff that North has gotten and in turn produced what can best be described in technical terms as a DUD.

Mancow (Syndicated), Dahl (25 year track record), Stern, Spike, Kathy and The Other guy, have proven formulas and audiences.

Someone was convinced by North, or just couldn't stand listening to him argue anymore and they said "fine, just get out of my office and stop spitting on me when you talk."

To produce a show that has ratings equal to local spanish stations is not even funny. Mike's defense for this in the past has been that he creates revenue. How much revenue? Better be at least $2.5 M just to break even.

When this show crashes it will be one of the louder ones heard not only among the former loyal listeners, but also among the industry people that can't stand Mike and believe me, thats list is growing daily.
