On the contract he turned down. We all know it was 800k per. I don't think I ever heard how many years the deal was for. Just curious.

The contract was not guaranteed, so the amount of years doesn't mater.

One bad ratings book, and Pappy could have been fired without any pay. Much like other radio hosts.

Which, considering what they were put through with the years of solo-Pappy bad radio, is justifiable.

Even under that scenario, that's 200K out the window...and they most likely would not have terminated it after one book.
