Pathetic he may well be (and I certainly won't argue with that assessment), but I just noticed his bio in the "talent" section of the Comast website is at least twice as long as just about anyone else's. Once again, whether it's his doing or Comcast's, the myth is being spread that he's one of the most important and relevant voices on the Chicago sports scene.

That's because he believes his myth - been going on since he entertained guys at softball. or at the bar during the bears games - the funny drunk at the end of the bar -

Here is my issue with pappy, after getting his mega bucks contract from the score, he removed any listener interaction with the fans, for 5 years, didnt need them, then the minute he doesnt have a job, he loves the fans, then comcast comes along and its back to ignoring what he said he was doing this for, the fans, if he has any. Its just something that bothers me, because like I have said before, in the right show and right producing, pappy is tolerable.

His problem now is that he has to put a dollar figure on everything, money is the only thing that matters, plus the fact that the money changed him into a power hungry idiot didnt help either. I know Rock wont say it, but look at the two shows he has been involved with, pappys show were he had no control and now mully and hanley which is a very good show, that shows pappy doesnt judge talent well, yes it was the mnms, but it was a failure, you would think at some point he would have just gave some of the reigns of those who might have improved the product, but again, his ego and power trip didnt allow it, now he is going do a garry meier and fade away, to bad in many ways, but deserved in so many more ways.
