No Doubt Papi has people watching his chair, but I agree Fred doesn't like North that much.

They need to put someone acroiss from Mike that honestly would be willing to go toe to toe with him. yes, Physically. I don't mean that they will actually fight but someone that will not back down to his stupidity.

That is BS. Fred is the ultimate yes man. He would like anyone who was his superior.

I'm going to cut Fred some slack on this one. Met him a couple of years ago at Bears camp and he seems like a decent enough sort. And, I think he DOES have opinions on things. It's just that the station has anointed North as god around there and who wants to rock the boat and stand up to god? It's North's show and I think Fred's role as designated pussy has been made clear to him. Fred doesn't make the show crappy, the presence of the high-and-mighty gasbag, Mike North, does.

He was the same type of yes man with Murph, a morning show on which they received equal billing. I do kind of like him on his other work. Unfortunately he has contributed nothing in about 5 years of morning work.

Two things that Fred has going for him are quality radio update pipes and he does something that some, allegedly popular, Score personalities often do not, he watches the games. I actually liked his White Sox Weekly. They should alternate him and Olken there and let His Eminence sleep in and us listen to the show free of phones ringing, pots and pans clanking, door slamming, and dogs yapping.
