Thanks to those of you who made room for me on the wagon. It was fun and I look forward to next year. I still don't really understand it but I like it.

Whether or not they do, what they've done this season is remarkable and commendable. They've bought a sport back in a town that has shunned it (rightfully so) for decades.

While the meatballs[REDACTED] have spilled a bit of sauce over the great story that it is--the Blackhawks have been one of the best things to come out of 2008-2009, for sure.

I love this team. And I want to see them take the Cup.

...unless they play the Flyers of course.

Don't fret, you wont have to worry about the flyers making the stanley cup finals for about 15-20 years...

i know. i think they'll have a player named stanley cup before they actually win one. which they'll trade, for someone that'll stay on the phantoms for...oh...10 years. and then trade again.

It was a great season and I can't wait for to see this team grow and develop. Add some players and let's go for it.

They are already ahead of where I thought they'd be.

If / when they lose the next game....the season will be considered a FAILURE according Bernsie. They certainly have jumped into the thick of the NHL....and hopefully this is a stepping stone towards the cup. Dan Mcneil's article the other day seems right on though....Detroit is simply better. How does that change next year? tbd...

I do not understand how anyone could view this season as a failure, regardless of what happens in the next game or this series. This has been a great year for the Blackhawks. The future is very bright here and hopefully this will be a building block for great things to come in the future.

It's not a failure for the season to come to an end, it's a failure for it to come to an end shamefully. The way they played Sunday bore very little resemblance to the way they played to get this far in the second season.

I'm not calling it over just yet. They just need to get their heads straight.

One game, no matter how badly played, does not make a season a failure.

You're right, I worded that wrong. I'm still seething about that game.

Actually, game 7 would. Not as much as game 6.
