Please tell me she's kidding. Although I'd be interested to hear Kendra's responses to questions from a Hot Dog Mike interview. (The "sports maven" line gave me a good laugh though)

Who actually listened to the MNMS on my way to the L this morning, and in the 20 minute drive didn't hear one thought that remotely involved sports other than "I'm surprised Hillary didn't wear a Braves hat to the (Coretta Scott King) funeral yesterday and say she hopes Maddux has a great year" (button pushed, God bless Jack FM)

He must have used the 'funeral is still going on' joke about 10 times in a hour period from the time I listed - about 6:15 to 7:15...It was questionable the first time (as to whether it was funny), and it was definitely worn out the 10th time he used the same joke.

I flipped the radio on at 10am & caught the last 15 minutes of Mikey's show (whimsically called "transition") & I heard the same funeral reference at least 10 times (everytime a new name was mentioned) so it must have been going on all during the show

Yea, everytime they'd bring up a name Mike would say, "Dere at da King funeral". Hilarious, and as usual, very classy. I just love the production as well. It was sooo funny to drop in belching sounds while playing Ted Kennedy's funeral speech. We all know that joke isn't played out. Also, very appropriate to wonder out loud, "Wit Kennedy and da King family dere, how many drunks ja suppose were dere?" Nice Pappy. And it was compelling to hear about Fred pulling his hamstring while bowling for 15 minutes. Yesterday, Jen Jen's Olympic coverage was outstanding as well. I learned that Bodhi Miller was outspoken. Wow! Who knew? I also learned that her hair dryer blew out the outlet, because she's too fucking stupid to use a converter. And I thought sending here there was a stupid idea. My bad. Keep up the great work gang!

Actually, Kendra instead of Annie and the chubby cheeked blonde is an idea I'd give a listen to.

Typical of the show. Instead of getting somebody like a normal, humorous expert with knowledge, North goes for the stupid bimbo thug gold-digga sista grade school dropout - just like him! - she's the Black Female Mike North! I'll take the classy horny slightly-tarnished Marion Brooks instead. (in my bed too)

Certainly not for her sports insight. But she has some TV/reporting background, a better functioning cranial matter, and can articulate a thought better than anyone in that studio right now.
