Not ripping her, but she says (paraphrasing) this morning at about 6:30 AM that 'you give 10-15 charities, and that's what you can do - you can't give to every charity'.

This was in the midst of North's discussion about Phil Rogers article about Kirby Puckett's charitable donations.

The way Annie spoke, it sounds like she gives to 10-15 different charities....Maybe I'm a selfish bastard since I only give to 1-2, but this may be a record ??

I've always subscribed to the theory that, given my modest ability to give, a larger donation to a limited amount of charities will have a bigger impact then spreading it across the board. Giving time is also helpful.

Keep in mind she's a media whore and a long list of charities she has made donations to on her bio looks good in the eyes of morons stupid enough to read such a bio.

no way she - or her husband! - gives to that many charities a year, unless they gave a dollar to each! they've probably given to that many in their lifetimes - but not per year. although she does get $110,000 for doing nothing, so maybe guilt drives her.

I do recall her ridiculous argument about 5 or 6 months ago that once you make a certain amount of money you should HAVE to make donations to charities, etc.

That was an argument about athletes making more money than Annie found reasonable.

Screw you Anne Max -ipad- field
