I always enjoy reading the North Bashing on here as it is usually pretty well stated and I am not really trying to bash Mike here, but it is just more amusing than the morning show itself.

Seems that Mike may have bored everyone so much, they can't even comment anymore?

I always thought it was better to get Bad Publicity over NO publicity?

So many people have tuned out, we's don't know what he been saying lately to rip on him. Bad,bad, bad.

That sums up my feelings very well, thank you. I think those of us who can't stand him and his show have made ourselves clear, and the station certainly doesn't seem inclined to offer us anything new in the mornng, so I guess we're at a standoff. What else is there to say?

He gets all excited talking about these nothing events in his life. It all circles around him. He has Rock and Jen hang around him cuz they are young kids and think of him as a God. I catch him in on transitions and every story centers around him.

"We were at da Sox game and Jen Jen didn't take a picture with me and Aparicio".

"I was in da booth with Farmer and told him da pitcher is tippin da pitches"

30 minutes of pregame show for "bookie priest. Then a 30 minute post game show to talk about how great bookie priest is.

Beardown, please stop the Bookie Priest hatred. By some lines of reasoning, this makes you a churchist. You probably also have a strong dislike for pediphiles. How dare you, sir.

Maybe Pappy should change the show to the Bookie Priest Morning Show featuring Mike North, twice daily no less.

I don't think Jen and Rock consider Mike to be God, but he is there boss and it is his show. I hate the putting ones self into a story. There was this one time I posted on a message board and then(insert famous poster) stated something crazy and then me and(insert sidekick name) totally went off into an endless thread...

I always check or comment here because I dream of the day this board goes crazy with hits when Mike Mouth gets the AXE!

It appears he aint goin anywhere.

I've ran out of things to say about this fuk.

I love the site and all of BIGFANS efforts in running it but I find myself coming here less and less to spew negativity to the world about someone who deserves LESS than negative attention.

I thought I listen a little when the Sox started but I cant. And I wont.

I flipped over to the Score the other day when MJH was away at cottage (er, during a commercial), and I heard for the first time a promo for the bookie priest.

Is this a gimick he does often? This is entertainment?

I've never heard the segment.

Answer to first question: Often? Often is an understatement. He seems to think this is one of the great comedic characters in history, right up there with Don Knotts as Barney Fife.

Answer to second question: No. Unless, of course, on Good Friday your idea of entertainment is to hear Mike North singing, "Like Jesus was nailed to the cross, the Heat will nail the Magic tonight."

Wow. Thanks for confirming my decision never to turn to that show even when M&M are boring me to death.

Remember the wizard and Kamala? I can't believe Jiggs did that.

Hey, Mikey thought so much of that Good Friday bit, he replayed it during transition with Mully & Hanley. That's how I heard it. They (both practicing Catholics, I'm thinking) seemed a bit uncomfortable with it. Then, right after that, Mr. North seemed very proud of himself for dubbing the Mully & Hanley team "The Two Micks." You know, in the hands of a talented and creative comedian, a little ethnic/religious/racial humor can be funny and doesn't bother me at all. Unfortunately, Mike North is NOT a talented, creative comedian.
