Thanks for keeping me entertained for the summer, but wetting the bed year after year against Minnesota can not keep happening. See you next spring.

At least they put up a fight. That's more than I can say about the Cubs. The decision to not sign Thome has to go down as one of the biggest blunders in recent WS history. That just continues to make no sense esp. when he talked of joining the Twins. Mark Kotsay? Mark Teahan for 3 years?? The latter is a Jim Hendry move except without the no trade clause. Sorry Sox fans.

It's too bad there isn't a radio equivalent of The U where they could just put all of the rest of the Sox games and post game shows so I could get regular programming back...

The White Sox stopped hitting in the clutch after their win on Labor Day in Detroit. As much as Ranger has tried awfully hard on his "Xfinity Postgame" after Sox losses and on "White Sox Weekly" Saturday afternoons to explain the real meaning of a hitting coach, there's a column by the Sun-Times/SCORE's own Joe Cowley that makes you wonder if hitting coach Greg Walker could be among the potential casualties after the season ends.
