Dead

Quote:
(CNN) -- Gary Moore, a former guitarist with the 1970s rock band Thin Lizzy, has died at age 58, according to a statement on his official website.

"It is with deep sorrow and regret that we have to announce that Gary Moore passed away while on holiday in Spain last night," the statement said.

There was no immediate confirmation on the cause of death.

Moore was an original member of Thin Lizzy, based in Dublin, Ireland. The band recorded guitar-driven rock hits, including "Jailbreak" and "The Boys Are Back In Town."

Moores best work was on the Jazz/fusion album released by Colosseum called "Wardance" in 1977.

I've got very little problem not being counted as one of the experts on the music of Colosseum II.

I actually have the "Wardance" album in the basement with about 500 other albums. One of these days I'll hook up the USB Turntable that I got for X-Mas this year & start digitizing the old odd albums.

Drowned on his own puke after a night drinking champagne with his 30 year old girlfriend.

There's worse ways for a 58 rocker to go.

RIP Gary, I've still got the blues for you - but don't take me for a loser.
