In other news, Floyd Bannister still has a 4.06 lifetime ERA.

Trevor (Hilary's fiancee) from The Fresh Prince of Bel Air is still dead as well.

Just doing a little six degrees of separation on Wiki, Frank Thornton is still alive. Yes, Captain Peacock lives.
He was also in Last of the Summer Wine, as replacement for the character Foggy, played by Brian Wilde. I liked the early years of that show but not really the later ones.

I used to watch all the brit comedy shows, are you being served, Black adder, faulty towers, and ab fab. This weekend there was a abfab marathon of sorts on LOGO and I caught some of the shows.

Those shows enjoyed a real popularity surge in the 80s/90s. For my part, I remember the shows from the 70s (when I lived in Belgium.) Even things like "The Good Life" (aka, "Good Neighbors" in US) was a perennial favorite.

I found it interesting that "Are you being served?" was brought back, several years later, to cater to the American audience.
