While of course WSCr would never talk about it, there is an underlying feud on the Grossman v Orton issue.

I even feel less intelligent stating it like it is discussion?

Really do wonder if North 'Truthfully' thinks Orton is a better option at QB than Grossman? or is he just playing the rant?

I just wish when B&B (Matty and Jason) put together that opening of morons calling in with Orton support, they start working in some Mike North Comments?

Why did SCR annoint North as its star and savior when his ratings were never "good" (as I recall, HFC usually did better numbers)? North did nothing to warrant his annointing (and listeners have suffered as a result).

Likewise, why do the Bears annoint Grossman as the savior QB when he hasn't done a thing to warrant it? Why not have a competition instead of annointing the guy yet again? Let Grossman, Griese and Orton battle it out (and have a stretcher waiting to cart Grossman off the field).

I don't understand the logic in either case (understand, I'm not annointing Orton as the savior nor saying he was responsible for ten wins last year - but he should be part of the competition for the spot).

No I don't think Pappy is taking a role against B&B. I think Pappy is dumb enough to actually believe that kyle Orton is good. I've often said Pappy is exactly like the B&B callers that they ridicule. If Pappy didn't land this job 15 years ago he'd be a regular dumb caller to B&B. As it is he has 4 hours every day to make his dumb phone call on the Score.

I'm not so sure. There are thousands of Pappy Clones walking around this city. Wide eyed simpletons. With that stupid fixed smile. To dumb to have a concern or worry in this world. Chicago just has to hear this one on a regular basis. It wouldn't be a landslide win for Pappy.
