Lets say you opens a new joint to eat

and you sign a 5 year lease and the rent is $30 G a month for a 10,000SF place and it cost another $100G per month just to stay open

grossing $125G a month isn't good. Although you can say you gross more money than anyone on the block, you might also lose more money than anyone on the block

Get it Mike? Your joint loses the most on the block while grossing the most

in case you still don't get it, that aint good

I don't know if that is correct in the business world. Most retail/sales operations have a product they consider a loss leader. They may not make money on the product but its value is in getting you in the door and using its brand of products.
