Annie this morning had me tuning to a different station within the first 10-15 minutes of listening....

1) Talking about Mario Williams and Reggie Bush, North and Fred were talking about the mistake they saw in Houston passing on Bush. Annie, chimes in, and says, "Bush was taken 3rd, right ?" Maybe not a big deal, but yet another example of her just not having a clue on a sports station.

2) Talking about 2 MNF games tonight, Annie says "there's going to be 2 games every Monday right ?"...again, not a mistake that would make me stop listening if the overall quality on the show was fine...but it's just a tough listen when you have those kinds of comments, and there's a lot more that come up over a 4 hour show....

I remember Mike was bashing Reggie Bush after the draft, saying his back up at USC was a better back. He then kept saying "people are mad at Mario Williams", which I didn't hear anybody mad at him and he kept saying Williams would be better then Bush.

I do remember that also...now, he says, he turns the Saints on if the Bears aren't playing because of Bush.

Did Mike also mention that HIS GUY Lendale White, who was the "better back" than Bush, was inactive in week one? So far, he can't quite beat out Chris Brown and Travis Henry for playing time.

The strawman approach ("People say...")is a well-worn cliche at the Score. Boers does it alot too. When a North or a Boers say "everybody says...", you can be pretty sure nobody has said it. If somebody of any import or relevance had said it, they would have been quoted directly.

Come on guys. It's Mike's whole deal

-Angelo is an idiot
and on and on

anyone that on top Mike find the underdog and tells us all about how right he is..

Then when one of things hits.

'Fred, didn;t I tell you last week?"

Then Fred comes out from under the desk where his lips are firmly planted on Mike's ass and he says "Yes you did sir"
