Who's worse betwen the two? I think they both have bad radio voices. I would say the edge goes to North though because he has a four hour show. I'm just glad he's on in the morning that way I don't have to hear Pappy in the afternoon.

Very few voices bother me as much as any single commercial that tries to imitate a "Chicago" guy.

It is bad enough when a National company does it, but it still grinds me that guy from the Sox radio commercials.

And I hate when North goes into it intentionally.

I don't like it either. I've got nothing against people who have the "Chicago accent". I've been told by outsiders I have it a little. But I think as generations go by that it is getting weeded out--the heavy Pappy type accent that is. I just hate the notion that you aren't Chicago if you speak proper English with out the "dems" and "dats". The majority of Chicago people don't talk like that by the way. Just look at long time Chicago guys on the Score for example.

Murphy, Boers, Fred don't have a hint of the "Chicago accent".
