Subject: Anne Maxfield
Bob, you wrote that WCKG and WBBM were not "good fit[s]" for Anne Maxfield. Yet you fail to mention (probably because you haven't spent but a nanosecond listening to the train wreck that is the Mike North Morning Show) that Anne Maxfield is not a "good fit" for sports radio.

She shouldn't be on a sports radio station. This morning, North was calling out Urlacher again for only getting credit for 6 tackles vs. SF. Annie, in her brilliance, says he tackled about 2 or 3 players alone on the Nathan Vasher return. North and Fred had to explain to her the definition of tackle...
Replacing her with Matt "Drinky" Abbatacola was the smartest move Mitch Rosen made at WSCR. Drinky brought new life and energy to the show (and, I might add, intelligent sports talk). But having given up on that experiment, Mitch has now decided that life, energy and intelligent sports talk are the last things that should be on the Score's morning show. Back to the great discussion on what a tackle is...
