After listening to Last call tonight, I am convinced that the only reason he didnt want Matt on the morning show is because Matt has ten times the talent he has.

I don't think North was so fearful of drinky being more popular than him, because it already has happened, or at least more well liked.

I do think his fear came from Matt easily making Annie and Fred dispensable, but then again a goldfish could do that.

The implications of failure if Mike North lost his hand picked staff is obviousely too much for him to take.

What I don't think I will ever get over is how someone at CBS radio approved not only the money portion of the deal to Mike North, but also the unlimited power. Are these guys so out of touch with the real world that a high school droput from Ridge Ave is that much of a novelity that they thought the world would love this guy?
