The Simpsons died with Phil Hartman, It's been more than a decade of trash. Sad to see Marcia Wallace go, she was a great talent.

If you shoot and kill Phil Hartman, there's only one thing to do after. Truly a national tragedy. Why couldn't it have been Al Franken?

Exactly. What a sick world we live in where someone as genuine and talented as Phil Hartman is murdered. This show has truly sucked balls since his untimely passing. Obviously the horrendous writing has also contributed to the massive drop off in quality but Hartman's absence has certainly had a big effect.

This is a shame.

It's time they put the Simpsons to rest. Bart lost one of his biggest foils.

And of course, the Bob Newhart Show curse lives on. He'll be the last one standing.
