I thought he did a nice job, however it is foolish to compare Stallone to De Niro. They are not even in the same league.

Also, Mike should have been embarrassed to do that interview from his basement. This is the one truly A list celebrity he is likely to get on the show...get in the damn studio regardless of the time. The echo made it sound like an interview from Wayne's World.

I laughed at that one too Coach. I know stands are technically restaurants but he was definitely attempting to obscure the truth.

A few random thoughts regarding the Stallone interview and the comments on this board.

*Teelander - the interview was apparently from the day before in the afternoon...thus North was home. The echo from the Pappyland studio was annoying & amatuerish.
*Yes, Annie stated immediately afterward that it was a great interview. I would say it was mixed. North did interject himself way too much into his prefaces (For the record, he did state early on that he owned a hot dog stand before referring to it as a restaurant). I did like the fact that Stallone admitted that he & Deniro didn't really hit it off, which I doubt most mainstream interviews would have brought up.
*I came away from the interview thinking that Stallone seemed like a pretty good guy - which I would never have guessed. This is the same way I felt after B&B talked with Adam Sandler. :D

Stars tend to get more accessible when they reach the age of 60 and find their services no longer in demand.

I think North was steering the interview too much to the subject of DeNiro. It felt awkward after awhile. I was extremely perturbed they didn't breakdown my guilty viewing pleasure Tango & Cash. *sigh*

EDIT: Lmao @ 'didn't do any reading on you before this' and all that, real nice to get the movie date wrong. And I had my hand on my head during his little weekend/weekday story
