Former NBA player Quinton Ross was found dead in a shallow grave in Far Rockaway, New York on Monday. Ross was 32.

According to the New York Post, Ross had been "hounded" about money and was reported missing on Thursday. Monday he was found stuffed in a trash bag hidden in weeds between the water and boardwalk. Police tracked Ross using his cell phone.


"People have been calling for Quinton asking about a car or getting some money, but I tell them he doesn't live here," Ross' aunt Stachia Jacobs told the Post.

The 6-foot-6 guard spent the first four of his seven NBA seasons with the Clippers and wrapped up his basketball career in France with the Boulazac Basket Dordogne.
