I dont listen to his show and I work anyway but can someone post something about Mikes reaction to the Senn Field deal?

Will he stick his tail between his legs and "really" apologize?

Will he stick to his guns?

Will he just not say anything?

fred's reaction: "Sure there's a lot of people who would like to take their votes in elections back, but they can't.... once you vote it's over"

mikey's reaction: "It's all managements fault for not letting me meet with the Asian representatives so they'd think I was contrite. Besides I paid for a lot of winter coats for school kids & no one ever said thank you." (followed by some incomprehensible comment about "trading kid's coats for crack")

so he didnt buy egg rolls for the homeless on lower Wacker to show he supports the "chinaman" workers?


What about Fox? They know about all of this and he is still there? Can someone send them these Senn Stories and try to get a reaction. I'll stay tuned.

I didn't hear it but from what you guys are saying Pappy just proves to be an ass hole. So it went something like this?

Pappy- Da votes were taken and da field should be named after me. It shouldn't madder dat you found out what a jerk I am afterwards. You should have looked it up before hand. Dis is America. Plus I blame management for my China man comments. Dey never told me I was wrong.

Fred- That's right Pappy you got screwed

Annie- A vote is a vote.

Pappy- And anoder ting. I gave coats to all dem kids. Da bastards never thanked me. If I would have known I wouldn't have a field named after me I wouldn't have given them shit. I would have let dose kids freeze.

Once again Pappy proves that it's all about him. As Big Fan suggested he could have taken the high road. But he just proves that he only did things for his high school so they would do something for him. It wasn't good enough that he helped some kids or built a field. Pappy needs to be stroked. That's his only motivation. Now he throws it back in their face and said he regrets helping kids? What a jerk.

Just continue to bring up all the crap he does and let those in control know about it - eventually he will explode, say the wrong thing to the wrong person at the wrong time, and bye bye North.

I know - it's been 15 years - but you are dealing with someone who knows his time is up, is trying anything to keep his name out there as a good guy and in the community ( see buying your way in), and the more desperate he gets, the more likely he will make a fatal mistake.

Note" It's not "so I could prove I was contrite," he just wants to snow them and have them believe his apology.

And, by the way, anyone who thinks that North's wife puts him up for any awards without his knowledge is deluding themselves.

Just a few minutes earlier to this rant, Mike called a woman he saw at the United Center "delicious".
Cut to the rant, and I hear, "I've been saying that word (Chinaman) for 15 years and nobody said anything about it".
