I was deprived of Michael North this morning, I Just read a bunch of posts and nobody actually said what happened-?

I'm actually curious too. I was hoping to be informed by this board but nobody seems to know what happend.

I thought the news story said no vote was taken and the naming rights were given back to Ald. Smith. The wife of one of the alderman's opponents sits on that board, so it is now more apparent then ever that this was a political move.

I assume the result will be that she will allow the name after the Feb. 27 election. This will be forgotten in 4 years and if not, so what, she will be 65 and have served for 20 years.

I hope he gets it.

You would think so but there are elected officials who have no opposition who are delaying decisions until after the election.
