Founder of Superdawg. Everybody remembers the first time they saw those iconic hot dogs on the roof...

What- in the hot dogs? I like a Superdawg once in awhile. But it bugs me when people call it a "Chicago hot dog". It's certainly not. It's its own thing.

Anyway, I didn't know Maurie but I bought a house from his daughter and son-in-law. Easiest real estate deal I've ever done. They are great people. I believe my ex just sold the house last week.

I never cared much for it. It was very similar to Byron's or Bowser Dog on Irving Park. Unnecessary extra condiments.

I used to play racquetball with Myles "Mush" Berman--the son of Maurie Berman--at the Northwestern University Sports and Aquatics Center. He was a terrible player (can't really move on the court) but is a great guy. He's a prominent public policy lawyer and a former adjunct law professor at NU.

I am not into hot dogs (anymore) or Povich's.
