Loved him as a player, but he made me first wonder about Boeheim as a "coach".

College basketball was so different back then. Gritty. Regional/almost personal. Yeah, starting to feel older is about right.

I always remember he had a high dribble to the point where he always looked like he was about to lose control of it at all times but then would just blow and/or spin by people.

I miss a good, old, lazy high dribble.

Tracy Dildy did just that to Isiah Thomas at the old Chicago State summer league games just after he graduated from King. Thinking about it really reminds me of the old days watching guys always trying to do that at Avalon Park/Stony Island Park or at the courts across from 63rd Street beach. Especially when it was starting to get dark. God were those days fun.
